The best hotel near BC Place and Rogers Arena!?

Blink and summer will already be over – get the most out of it with a trip to Vancouver, and these great limited-time events! Tick tock, tick tock!

Memories are made at the PNE. A Vancouver institution for 70 years – 70 YEARS! – The PNE has been a central part of youth in BC, or anyone who is happy enough to visit during the summer.
From now until September 15, the real jewel of PNE, Playland, is taking another spin around the ferris wheel. Filled with rides, games, and classic fair confections, Playland is one of the best fairs you’ll ever get to visit. Spin your way through a magical land on the new coaster ride, Bug Whirled, peddle your way to the clouds flapping your wings on The Flutterbye, then take the plunge on the marvellous mechanical Dizzy Drop – and most of all, make memories that your family will cherish forever.

Vancouver wasn’t always the gleaming city it is now. For a while, it was the rough and tumble port town, a haven for rum runners and mobsters alike! Get the dirt in this unique walking tour taking place all summer until September 30. Hear tales of opium dens, dirty cops, corrupt mayors, and all the sleazy nastiness that makes for all the best stories. A blast through the past and a great walk combined. Get details here!

The Vancouver Art Gallery always has something great to see, but for a limited time, they are showing a collection of the works of Claude Monet, the master Impressionist painter! Seeing Monet’s works in person transforms what have become familiar pieces into the astounding works of art that they really are – you really have to see them to believe them. Details here!
